A Likelihood Ratio Detector for QTMS Radar and Noise Radar

چکیده
We derive a detector function for quantum two-mode squeezing (QTMS) radars and noise that is based on the use of likelihood ratio (LR) test distinguishing between presence absence target. In addition to an explicit expression LR detector, we which approximates in limit where target small, far away, or otherwise difficult detect. When number integrated samples large, theoretical receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve radar when used. simulations understand ROC behavior detector. One interesting finding there exists parameter regime previously-studied outperforms contrary intuition tests are optimal. This because neither Neyman-Pearson lemma, nor Karlin-Rubin theorem generalizes hold this particular problem. However, remains good choice detection.

Signal to Noise Ratio Calculation Model in Radar Detection System
To solve noises affecting the performance of laser communication system problems, this paper studies mathematical model in atmospheric attenuation condition, sets up atmospheric attenuation coefficient of the primary factor aerosol (haze) according to the absorbing and scattering characteristics of the atmosphere, gives output SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) models under atmosphere attenuation based...
متن کاملSignal-to-noise ratio in squeezed-light laser radar.
The formalism for computing the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for laser radar is reviewed and applied to the tasks of target detection, direction finding, and phase-change estimation with squeezed light. The SNR for heterodyne detection of coherent light using a squeezed local oscillator is lower than that obtained using a coherent local oscillator. This is true for target detection, for phase es...
متن کاملBORD: bayesian optimum radar detector
We derive the expression of an optimum non-Gaussian radar detector from the non-Gaussian spherically invariant random process (SIRP) clutter model and a bayesian estimator of the SIRP characteristic density. SIRP modelizes non-Gaussian process as a complex Gaussian process whose variance, the so-called texture, is itself a positive random variable (r.v.). After performing a bayesian estimation ...
متن کاملA New Algorithm for the Deinterleaving of Radar Pulses
This paper presents a new algorithm for the deinterleaving of radar signals, based on the direction of arrival (DOA), carrier frequency (RF), and time of arrival (TOA). The algorithm is applied to classic (constant), jitter, staggered, and dwell switch pulse repetition interval (PRI) signals. This algorithm consists of two stages. In the first stage, a Kohonen neural network clusters the receiv...
متن کاملCompressive Sensing Meets Noise Radar
In this chapter, we discuss how noise radar systems are suitable for realizing practically the promises of compressive sensing in radar imaging, in general, and in urban-sensing applications, in particular. Noise radar refers to radio frequency imaging systems that employ transmit signals that are generated to resemble random noise waveforms. Noise radar has recently been successfully applied t...
